Ladies of Burlesque - is a classic burlesque show in Moscow, Russia, inspired by the Golden Era of cabaret.
Burlesque is a playful theatrical genre born in the US in the late 19th century. It is inspired by the beauty of the human sexuality and is full of extravagance, glamour and glitter. We are extremely proud to be bringing it to the Russian audience and helping them experience the fine art or seductive yet classy entertainment.
During their first year, Ladies of Burlesque have produced 10 sold out shows, won over the press and started a partnership with a charity project supporting victims of domestic violence "Nasiliu.Net" and it's just the beginning!
As in the Jazz Age, Ladies of Burlesque combines everything that makes burlesque and cabaret truly special: the glitter, the glamour, the boldness of classic burlesque acts together with live jazz music, an authentic jazz chorus line, a charming hostess and, most importantly, tight connection with the audience.
The show runs for 2 hours with a short break

Guests are offered several seating options: a table for two or for four.
The price of a ticket depends on how close you want to be to the stage.

Our mission
- Grow a burlesque scene in Russia;
- Give the viewer an opportunity to witness the mystery of female beauty and talent that is burlesque;
- Demarginalize sexuality, eroticism and sensuality as sources of creative inspiration;
- Give viewers and artists of the genre freedom of expression, the opportunity to be eccentric and extravagant.
What is burlesque?
Burlesque is not only a genre of satirical poetry or a film with Christina Aguilera, but first and foremost a playful theatrical genre.
History
In the early 20th century burlesque was an important part of American and European pop culture but was undeservedly forgotten with the advent of television and, unfortunately, never reached Russia in its original form. Stars like Josephine Baker, Fred Astaire, Lucille Ball and many others started their careers in burlesque shows, and Elvis Presley himself learned to dance from burlesque artists.

Contemporary burlesque
In XXI century, burlesque shows are once again a popular and very modern form of entertainment. The ubiquitous display of naked body has revived interest in its subtle eroticism wrapped head to toe in glamour and glitter. The biggest stars of the burlesque are the celebrity ecdysiast Dita von Teese, the curvy diva and muse of Karl Lagerfeld Dirty Martini, the beautiful Medianoche, and many many others.

In Russia, the revived genre has recently arrived and is experiencing a new growth in popularity. The Ladies of Burlesque show poses recreational and educational challenges. Burlesque is not only plastic, dance, chic costumes and pleasant music, but also love for one's own body, an ode to femininity and beauty.
Anya Pavlova - the only burlesque dancer who won the stage not only in Russia, but also abroad, is the ideological inspiration and headliner of the show.
